LOS ANGELES–In an another indicator of the trend toward gourmet edibles, Vertical Wellness acquired The Organic Candy Factory, makers of vegan, organic, kosher gummy bears that are free of gelatin and high fructose corn syrup.
The new collaboration will allow the wellness company to produce cannabinoid-infused versions of Organic Candy Factory gummies, which will feature VWELL’s patented fast-acting technology. As one of the world’s largest producers of hemp, Vertical Wellness is poised to become a notable player in the CBD edibles market.
“Having an established brand that is 100% organic and is the best tasting product on the market is the perfect segue for us to expand into that space as ingestibles go mainstream,” said Vertical Wellness CEO Smoke Wallin.
The Organic Candy Factory will be joining the large portfolio of cannabinoid health and wellness brands already owned by Vertical Wellness.
