Cannabis conviction hanging over your head? Goodness Growth is ready to do something about it. The cannabis company is hosting a free expungement clinic at its Baltimore Green Goods dispensary on Saturday, May 7th.
Backed by the support of attorneys and volunteers from the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, Eddie Pounds, and Project Dream, the free event will help Maryland residents with simple, non-violent cannabis charges learn about expungement and file the necessary paperwork.
Some groups estimate as many as 200,000 cannabis convictions are eligible to be expunged. Anyone with a cannabis conviction in Maryland who could use advice on expungement should attend. Those with open cases or in violation of probation or parole should not attend the clinic.
The expungement clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Baltimore Green Goods dispensary, 717 North Point Blvd. Attendees must bring their case information and court records. Register in advance to secure an appointment with the legal team here.
