What would $50,000 in investor funding do for your brand? What about $500,000? Canna Advisors is ready to help you find out. In conjunction with the opening of their New York office, the cannabis business consultancy is hosting a business plan and investment competition across the state of New York.
Entrepreneurs looking to enter the long-awaited New York industry have the chance at kickstarting their company with investment, advice, and consulting services from Canna Advisors. Entrepreneurs can enter the Pitch Deck Competition by submitting new business proposals for assessment by a panel of expert judges with investment and cannabis industry backgrounds.
The judges will analyze the entries based on license-preparedness, social equity components, degree of innovation, and other criteria. The top ten contestants will be asked to present their plans in a webinar for assessment. After another round of judging, the final presentations and winner selection will take place at the MJ Unpacked conference in New York City.
The selected winners will get a chance to win between $50,000 and $500,000 in investor funding, and an additional $150,000 worth of advisory counsel from the Canna Advisors team.

Top 10 Contestants Notified: April 1, 2022
Top 10 Pitches via Zoom: April 4 – April 15, 2022
Second Round of Judging: April 18 – April 22, 2022
Top 3 Contestants Notified: April 25, 2022
Final In-Person Presentations & Winner Selection: May 18, 2022, at MJ Unpacked in NYC
