Cresco Labs, the top U.S. wholesaler of branded cannabis, has announced the termination of a previously announced agreement with Maryland medical cannabis dispensary Blair Wellness. The definitive agreement was set for Cresco Labs to acquire 100% of the outstanding equity interest in Blair Wellness.
The termination by Cresco Labs is due to unmet closing conditions prior to a specified termination date. Blair Wellness was originally expected to close during Q4 of 2021. There will be no termination fees.
“We will continue to look for other avenues to expand our footprint in Maryland, and execute our strategy of going deep in meaningful, material states,” said Charlie Bachtell, CEO and Co-founder of Cresco Labs.
