FARMACEUTICALRX to begin medical cannabis cultivation in Ohio

Organic medical cannabis producer FARMACEUTICALRX has received final certification to begin operations in Ohio. The Ohio Department of Commerce approved the company’s plan to cultivate medical marijuana in the Buckeye State, making it a vertically-integrated operator.

The new certification comes after the company completed the construction and certification of its Ohio processing facility in August 2021. The FARMACEUTICALRX of Ohio Level 1 cultivation business is located alongside its medical cannabis processing facility in East Liverpool. The company also operates a dispensary in East Liverpool and as a grower/processor in Farrell, Pennsylvania. 

The company’s first harvest in Ohio is expected in Q2 of 2022, according to the Founder and CEO of FARMACEUTICALRX, Rebecca Myers. “This critical step positions us to continue to build our FARMACEUTICALRX brand together with our suite of sub-branded products and to expand and serve our loyal customer base across Ohio and Pennsylvania.”
