Multi-state operator Green Thumb Industries, the Greater New Haven Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and national cannabis law firm Vicente Sederberg have partnered to support Connecticut social equity cannabis license applications. The organizations will host a free five-day webinar series for Connecticut residents interested in social equity opportunities for the upcoming recreational market.
The five-day series begins February 22nd at 6 PM EST and will include a comprehensive overview of the state’s adult-use licensing process. The following weeks will cover how to qualify as an applicant, how to navigate the application portal, how to operate a cannabis business in Connecticut, and other opportunities beyond licenses.
The announcement comes shortly after Connecticut launched the first round of licensing application periods, with half of licenses going to general retailers and the other half to social equity applicants.
