Snapshots from historic Cookies SF opening in New York’s Herald Square

Another piece of history has joined New York’s iconic Herald Square. Cookies SF opened its first New York retail store and future cannabis career training facility over the weekend. The five-story storefront is stocked with apparel, accessories, and CBD products.

The move into Herald Square puts Cookies SF in the center of a popular travel hub. The new Cookies storefront sits across from the flagship Macy’s, one of the largest department stores in the world and where the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place. “This location is iconic for so many reasons,” said Berner, Co-Founder and CEO of Cookies SF. “We plan on doing some incredible things in this location and can’t thank our partners enough.”

The Midtown Manhattan establishment will house exclusive Cookies SF clothing, including specific New York merchandise. The first two floors of the five-story 1920s-era building offer streetwear, the third floor is dedicated to store management, and the remaining fourth and fifth floors are expected to be used for educational classes for Cookies U, the company’s social equity training and education program.

In celebration of the grand opening, the company held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday, October 30th. Crowds gathered around for a meet and greet with Berner with a predictably large turnout. Scroll through to see photos from the event:
