Sonoma County’s Garden Society expands into New Jersey

In a fitting move, Garden Society is stepping into the Garden State. The femme-centric wine country brand was recently awarded a conditional processing license in New Jersey. The company is the first independent, women-owned California manufacturer to make their way to the state.

“While our products are loved by everybody, as a female-owned and led company, we especially understand the needs and interests of other women and are anxious to finally be able to meet the demand in the Garden State,” said co-founder and CMO Karli Warner.

Founded in 2016, the edibles and pre-rolls company currently sells products in hundreds of California dispensaries and all major delivery platforms. Garden Society plans to produce their own products In New Jersey and partner with aligned California brands to produce their products for the market, too.

“The state has done an incredible and notable job of prioritizing and supporting diverse business owners and accelerating the success of minority-owned cannabis businesses,” said founder and CEO Erin Gore.

Garden Society’s entry into New Jersey is slated for early 2023.
