Green Dragon rolls out long-awaited cannabis delivery in Colorado

AURORA, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Green Dragon, a leading Colorado-based MSO, today announced the launch of its new cannabis retail delivery service in Aurora, Colorado’s third-largest city. The state legalized cannabis delivery in 2019, allowing for medical deliveries in 2020 and recreational deliveries in 2021. A lucky Denver resident received that city’s first legal cannabis delivery in August.

Green Dragon is now offering cannabis home delivery to residential addresses within the city limits of Aurora. Qualifying customers, age 21 and older with a valid government issued I.D., can place orders online, and pay via cash or debit card.

The new delivery service offers the same curated selection of items and excellent customer experience found in Green Dragon retail dispensaries while providing a convenient, discrete way for customers to enjoy their favorite cannabis products without leaving the comfort of their home.

“Delivery service is not a luxury—for many customers, it’s a necessity. We are looking forward to providing safe, convenient access to high-quality cannabis products,” said Green Dragon’s Chief Development Officer, Alex Levine. “This is just the first step for us in the Denver metro area and beyond as local municipalities change their regulations to allow delivery.”

In addition to Aurora, Green Dragon is also gearing up to start delivery services in Denver soon with a social equity partner.

The company, which has a network of 15 Colorado dispensaries, has assembled a dedicated delivery logistics department and anticipates being able to deliver orders to customers within 30 minutes. There is a flat delivery fee of $4.99 for delivery orders under $100 before tax.

This news comes shortly after Green Dragon announced that it will be acquired by Eaze, the nation’s largest cannabis delivery marketplace. Together, Eaze and Green Dragon plan to create the nation’s largest MSO delivery operation with an ever-expanding delivery network as well as physical storefronts across the country.
