All aboard! The second annual North American Weed Tour (NAWT) is set to begin July 10th. Hosted by Respect My Region, the podcast series will contain 250 episodes and Instagram live streams to showcase every sector of the industry: products, retailers, farms, labs, kitchens, ancillary services, and technology.
Launched in 2011, Respect My Region is a community-centered platform focused on music and cannabis across the US and Canada that has built a strong following based on the authenticity of its reporting. The company provides content creation, marketing services, influencer campaigns, PR services, and more to companies across the industry. The second annual North American Weed Tour comes after a successful first tour which included discussions with Jon Bon from Dutchie, Bill and Jeff Levers of Beard Bros Pharms, Zack Hirschfield of Timeless Vapes, and other relevant players in cannabis.
Hosts will review more than 500 products and showcase brands across every category. They’ll also showcase more than 100 cannabis industry leaders on Respect My Region’s YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch accounts. RMR co-owner Joseph Brabo says that this year’s edition will include “an educational series with Betty Krocker Bakes and myself, the Legacy Cannabis Podcast hosted by Adam Ill, and the Gas or Trash Instagram Live Stream and Podcast series hosted by Mistah Cannabis.” They’ll also launch the Canadian Cannabis Podcast, the Northeast Cannabis Podcast, and the Midwest Cannabis Podcast.
This year’s media and PR partnerships include 40 Tons, AZ Cannabis News, Beard Bros Pharms, The Bluntness, The Cannabis Library, The Cannigma, Ganjapreneur, Heady NJ, Honeysuckle Magazine, Illinois News Joint, Puf Creativ, and Skunk Magazine.
“Scaling the tour with these new series will allow us to magnify the stories of new brands and businesses across North America even more. This year, the tour has been specially crafted to have a greater impact on cannabis brands in emerging markets while also amplifying the success of industry leaders and innovators,” said Respect My Region CEO and Founder, Mitch Pfeifer, who you may have seen interviewing our own, George Jage, at the MJUnpacked NYC ‘22 event.
